A Houston firefighter decided to step in to help after a lawn care worker had his leaf blower stolen during a robbery where he was held at gunpoint.
According to a report on ABC13, Jake Lewis saw the incident on the nightly news. He says he felt bad for the victim, Calvin Bradley, who was held at gunpoint. The assailant took the leaf blower and escaped in a getaway car driven by another suspect. The blower was valued at $400.
Lewis also has a maintenance company and asked his father to bring one of his blowers to the fire station. An ABC13 crew then delivered it to Bradley, who was extremely thankful.
The gunman and getaway driver are still at large.
